Seychelles-India Day – Four ladies win photography contest

photoFour Ladies – Marine Plante, Cluadia Marie, Kaviya Sekar and Poogkuzhali Pillay – are the winners of the third Seychelles-India Day image award 2016.

They received their prizes during the launch of the Seychelles-India Day ‘Food and Fun’ fair at the Stad Popiler car park yesterday.

The prizes were presented by the chairman of the Seychelles-India Day Committee Ramu Pillay, Indian high commissioner Sanjay Panda, the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange and Designated Minister Vincent Meriton.

The aim of the competition was to portray the beauty of India and Seychelles in every aspect which included the people, culture, food, music and dance. Organised by the Seychelles-India Day Committee, the competition was opened to all photographers and it had as theme ‘Incredible India in Paradise’.
