Seychelles Carnaval on SKY NEWS – Interview via SKYPE


SKY NEWS is one of the world media set to cover the coming carnival in Seychelles starting the 22 to the 24 of April. This year once again some 120 media houses will be in Seychelles to cover the event where about 23 countries will be represented in the carnival parade with all the best and most popular carnivals parading together. Notting Hill from the UK, Brazil Carnival, the Italy Carnival, Indonesia carnival, Dusseldorf Carnival and the Cologne Carnival out of Germany and for the first time the French Carnival are all descending on Seychelles. Last week SKY news international carried our an interview via SKYPE with Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture to discuss the carnival. Attached is a link with an interview ( approx. 1 minute 20 seconds into the news wrap). Sky News have added approx. 30 seconds of carnival in Seychelles footage which showed the world at large the achievement of the Seychelles in staging a cultural event that today appears on the world’s calendar of events.
