World Intellectual Property Day 2015

The World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated on 26th April every year. The main objective is to sensitize artists and members of the public on the importance of creativity and innovation. The theme “Get Up, Stand Up for Music” was provided by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).

BOOK-MARK-004Hence, to that effect, the Office of the Registrar of Copyrights has                                                                                                                                               produced Posters bearing the same theme, which will be affixed in various key locations in town, in various districts and at the National Cultural Centre (NCC).

A small quote from the Office of the Registrar of Copyrights:

BOOK-MARK-002Music has power, that even when we are not listening, music is often playing over in our minds. Music remains a soundtrack to our thoughts. Whether your taste runs to different genres; Get Up, Stand Up for your Seychellois music.
